Turtle Back Zoo
The damage was severe and approximately 1 billion animals were in peril. Across Australia, nearly 18 million acres of land burned — much of it bushland, forest, and national parks home to the country\’s beloved and unique wildlife.
The Conservation Committee for the Zoological Society of New Jersey at Essex County Turtle Back Zoo approved a MATCH for all donations up to a total of $25,000. After the campaign ended, we were able to send a donation of $40,000 to help Australia.

The Zoological Society of New Jersey is a nonprofit conservation organization that supports Essex County Turtle Back Zoo and worldwide projects to save species, including the Australia Wildlife Warriors.
